Hi there, i am a new member from Perth Western Australia. I have always loved washers, particularly english front loaders. I used to live in the UK and had haps of cool washers such as a Hoover Ecologic 1100 and a Servis Supertwin. I love this site and just the knowledge that i am not the only washer mad guy out there. I currently own a Whirlpool 8100 series washer with a dark fascia and a doudble surgilator agitator. I am only 18 but live outta home with my own gadgets. I also have a Kelvinator fridge and a Fisher and Paykell dishwasher. I will post pics soon. But for now, hi and i hope to get to know you guys soon.
Matt

Hey there

Hi Matt!

Welcome to the club! I see your from Perth - I have family over there, and may even be going across there for 6 months before I start university over here :-).

Hope that you enjoy the club! Our younger quarter is already building up quite a bit (I remember when it was only Austin and I in the younger division!).

Take care!!

Jon :-)

hi guys

cool, who coordinates this site? And how long ago was it since they updated it coz i really want them to update the See It Wash section and the Cyber Museam section (mostly coz i love watching videos of washers in action)
By they way jon, i love your AEG, how does it handle big loads at 1600 rpm? Your Miele is really cool too, i love the whole electronic controls, the mieles over here have the selector dial and indicator lights. The Bosch is the same as my freinds ( i always make excuses to go over his house and do laundry!)

Hey Matt,

You'll have to ask the mod (Unimatic1140) about updating and that, although a lot of the time we also post videos of our own machines which can be found throughout the oodles of threads and archives on this message board. P.S. Did you get my email? Cos I have a few videos I can send along to you :-).

My AEG can handle huge loads at 1600rpm just fine - it's amazing just how much it can actually hold when compared against the 5kg Miele. Towels come out almost bone dry - dryer than they are after they would be from a shower. Although - I've still gotta get over to Austin's house in Texas to see how it fares against his WO-52 (is that right Austin?) 1140rpm Unimatic LOL.

Take care!! And read that email I sent you :-)

Jon :-D

Hi Matt and welcome. I hope you're enjoying all the interesting and cool American washers from the 50's that make up the majority of our members collections. I also enjoy learning more about the machines you boys have in the UK. Looking forward to your posts and getting to know you better.
Les

Hi Matt, welcome to our little (getting big) club here. When I was 18 I only dreamed of a club like this, I thought I was the only one. I couldn't be more happy with how wrong I was.

Fun pooch too!
