Hi all,

Well I had my 16th on the 12th and things quietened down after the celebrations... until today!!!

My family secretly got me a 1970's Hotpoint 1018 Spin Dryer and a 1970's Hoover 3102E Single Tub!

They came from my Aunt's Mum who had them in her attic. They are cosmetically well and they are due to be powered up tomorrow. I assume she bought them seperately as no doubt the salesman would have suggested a Spinarinse when she was buying the Single Tub.

The Hoover's pipes are all fine by the looks of it while the Hotpoint's nice rubber drain hose is badly beaten as is the flex.

I can bet you can't wipe the smile from your face....

Just be careful with the flex and note that the internal wiring may also have deteriorated too...

Yes I'm so happy about the new toys, I will get the flex replaced tomorrow hopefully. I hope I find a Spinarinse sometime for the 3102E. I also hope I'll have enough space for everything over the years.
