the ad reads:

Vintage Maytag Washer/Dryer - $100 (Ypsilanti - Normal Park)

This Maytag washer and dryer set are true collectors items. Estimated to be from the early to mid 60s (Made in the USA). Not only to they look retro/snazzy but they both work! Washer has a large capacity steel drum (SUPER HEAVY). These make today's appliances look like mere toys. Clean enough to be used as props on a period film set. You move. Bring your truck, appliance dolly and help. Thanks for looking!

The way the ad is written, it sounds like they'd be overpriced.

That's reasonable for two decent machines.

Looks like a Fabric-Matic washer model of some ilk and a DE306 or DE308?

Not early to mid 60's,but still not a bad price for the set.

Washer is certainly an A308. I bet you're right about the dryer being a DE308, but the pics are too poor for me to decipher.
