I don't know how you guys didn't find this before I did but I am glad you didn't.
this has been a long search, I found her on craigs pal. in colorado about 3 days after I came home to Fl. from there. She is a KD2P Kitchenaid portable Dishwasher. I have owned a KD10 and a KD12 in the past and neither cleaned as well as the portable. Has anyone else found this to be true? here are some pics. by the way does Anyone Have a PDF of the owners Manual for this Machine. Thanks John |

I LOVE this machine - it had been a 'dream machine to be found' for me and I found one last year! Yours looks great - all the rack sections are there and you have the mesh detergent cup. Congratulations!!
As for dishwashing performance, I think you will be surprised at how well this machine cleans. It is really simple - a short purge, main wash, then two rinses - and I think it does a great job. Someone here probably has the manual, but if you have any operational questions (like how to load), just ask! |

I've always wanted one of these as well, congratulations! The more I get into these old appliances, the more interested I am in top-loading dishwashers. The portables are the easiest to find and play with. I've also always wanted to find a KitchenAid with the cast iron spray arm. Enjoy it in good health. |

What a great story. It's still in great shape. I am glad you two were reunited. Thanks for sharing your story. Don |
