From some web surfing i found that Mike who runs www.thewashingmachineplace.co.uk... posts on here a fair bit so i thought i would post up my review of the service ive received (its good trust me) as im guessing UK people on here would be tempted to buy from him

I ordered a Gorenje washing machine and tumble dryer at the end of December and cannot fault the service i received

TBH i could not have ordered a more awkward product, the reason for this is

1. Gorenje were running a deal where if you ordered the machines before the end of December you got 5 years parts and labour warranty
2. This was right in the xmas purchase period
3. VAT was going up - in the UK we used to pay a tax on most products and services at 17.5% - however since the 4th of Jan iirc that went up to 20% so people were buying the expensive things before January

This means that when I ordered the machines the UK had no stock of them, Mike kept me up to date on what was happening. Admitedly Gorenje made a mistake and sent me a dryer with no UK instructions and a European plug on it, these things happen from time to time especially if the factory needs to get machines out in time but a quick call to Mike and the correct instructions/adapter are being sent to me so thumbs up on the service from Mikes company

Mike is a concientious guy, so I would expect his business to reflect that. Now if he could just get me one of those over the Pond!

I second that Jon, I sure hope Mike's www.thewashingmachineplace.co.uk... expands over to the US sometime, that would be fabulous for all of us.

Just shows, support the independent retailer and get the best service; it’s so much better than the national stores who once they have your money they don’t care about the service or after care you receive.

Well done Mike.
