hi,
i thought this would be a good place to throw up a listing for an older maytag washing machine that came with the house that i bought. it is yellow/gold in color or "harvest gold" to be exact with some turquoise on the front control panel. washing machine works excellent and is in decent shape except that it has a water leakage problem with the water injector. or i think thats the name of the part. the load size is way too small for my purposes. i am located in minneapolis, minnesota. shoot me an offer. i can help load as well. email me and we ll talk.

No interest?

considering how many of you on this site seem to collect this particular model, there are no takers in minnesota? i was trying to save it from the junkyard but to no avail....again, this is a 206S model....single dial, turqoise and white front panel and gold in color...otherwise it gets knocked into pieces and recycled...and it even still works fine other than a water injector leak...

Why not try selling it in the newspaper? A lot of people would love a good Maytag, and even with the problem you could still make a couple of bucks.

I think though your machine is old it is not necessarily desirable to collectors. Seems collectors are looking for rare or unusal machines such as TOL models with lighted control panels. Maytag automatics are still quite common because they last so long and yours is MOL or BOL.
