Alright guys, does anyone have a copy or scan of the Kitchenaid Imperial Selectra 21 series service literature. I just checked behind my control panel, and the lower panel, and there is no paper work. So, hoping someone here will have a copy or scan of the paper work. Combo, you out there perhaps? Steve said he doesnt have any, so hoping someone here does.

It should be behind the main upper door panel in a plastic bag to the left of the detergent dispenser, Good Luck.

Yes, both of my machines (not Selectras) have it wrapped in plastic behind the main panel. I thought Steve meant there were special instructions for the Selectra's controls behind the console panel.

You have to remove the entire panel, not just the insert(s) on the front of it.  That means that the four screws I told you not to confuse with the two that hold the control panel in place are the ones that you need to undo.  It might be necessary to remove at least one of the side trim strips when you replace the panel, but cross that bridge when you get there.

If you open the door flat to accomplish this, put something under it so the panel assembly doesn't drop to the floor.  It also requires a bit of dexterity to put the panel assembly back into place, but it can be done without the help of another person.

Steve said there is diagnostic instructions in there. That was all i was looking for. I wont worry about it until/if it starts acting up again, then I will take the entire front panel off, to access retrieve the info. Thanks so much guys!!
