and found something he has been wanting for a LONG time, to add to our appliance collection. It is in Calf, and weighs about 100 pounds. The question is, what company would be best to ship it?

It depends on how large it is.  I was satisfied with "You Crate" when I shipped my Mom's old stove through them.

am back.... :)

Hello again...

Yes..as Rich said, I did some cross border shopping. Found the machine I had been looking for almost thirty some odd years in San Francisco on the third of February. After some fast and furious dealing between me, my friend in Oakland, the seller and Rich transferring some money and sending it down to oakland, the deal is done!

yes Bob..its a Dishwasher.

Will let you know that the machine is new in box, still has the Owners manual, Installation manual, and sales brochure included with it. It sat in the basement of a house from the day it was purchased uninstalled, till the new owner of the house decided to list it for sale. By luck, I had been doing on line searches for the machine on the 2nd and located it, and contacted the seller right there and then. With help from Ken in Oakland, its safe and sound awaiting my coming down to bring it back home to add to our collection of machines, but have a feeling this one is going to be a daily driver for me up here in BC, sorry Rich ;)
Guess this means the Maytag Reverse rack will be making a move south to the states soon :)

More to come..arranging the trip down to Oakland to pick up the machine here this week.
