Great picture of the day!

Interesting description of the washer!

How did this washer work?  Exclusive Gyrating "Agitator Basket"?

Sounds interesting.

Brent

Hi Brent, Universal had Apex make it automatics.  You know what that means, the Bouncing Basket!

the "Manor House Series"...

lovestowash's profile picture
combines the washer and dryer in one 'beautiful' cabinet...
like a mega chest freezer...
must have been a bear to deliver and install...
wonder how those sold?...

George

If I had to load, unload, and install the Manor House Series, I would be asking for extra $$$.

Can you imagine trying to get that Manor House behemoth down a flight of wooden basement stairs and around a corner? Hope you'd never have to lay it on its back for repairs. Yikes. But having said that, it would certainly be a unique addition to a vintage laundry collection.

Has anyone here seen one up close and personal?

LOL!

I thought the same thing about it looking like a chest freezer!
It is actually hard to tell the Chest Freezer on the right from the Washer.
