Being I posted some Modern Maid early 90s stuff in Deluxe forum - I thought I would post some 70s dishwashers in Imperial!
We will start with 1976!

These next 3 dishwashers are from 1978 and I posted a few weeks back but I figured I would re-add them to this thread.

Super 8 information contradiction

Peter, did you notice in post 496933 have two different Super 8 Scrub descriptrions right next to each other--one says 3 washes & 5 rinses and the other says 2 washes and 6 rinses.

Yes Bob it seems like it is a contriduction - those babies had 6 water changes for a full normal wash from that time. It probably added 2 extra changes (rinses) as pre washes. The normal sequence was w r r w r r d - I don't know where the other 2 changes came into play!
Also could you all imagine being able to have a dishwasher with that many water changes today. I say let it flow let it flow!

Peter, what bothers me is the implication of 3 washes meaning 3 detergent washes, but it only has two actual detergent cups, one that's open.  So misleading.  A "wash" has to have detergent.

Very Cool Peter!

I love the "Range that washes dishes"!
Many apartment complexes had the Modern Maid version of the electric range that washed dishes. I am sure they were installed in the early 1980's. It was the late 80's when I saw them and played with the few that I did.
I thought they were very cool.
I loved to hear the dishwasher run on a full load. They had a unique sound to them. Great rhythm.
I wonder how many of them are still in service.
Thanks for the scans.
Brent

I see yet another gas range w/ the knobs on the console, as opposed to next to the burners (or in front of them) & once again wonder: How is that possible?

Was it done in effect just for the pictures? (See gas range above)

good point

about the knobs. I have seen many M/M Cook & Clean's, but they have always been electric.
