Interesting model Canadian Kenmore. It's funny how the front of the washer looks like the American made Kenmores. I always thought the Canadian built models had fronts that were identical to those of Inglis washers which resembled the American built Whirlpools to an extent.

Fascinating model. Hopefully someone will provide more detail about it.

Have a good one,
James

Is that a Whirlpool with a side opening lid????? Or is the chrome handle missing?

I never saw that.

no its a whirlpool and the lid is not a side lid the lid opens like an inglis whirlpool so it opens upward

I don't see where you would stick your fingers to open the lid. Unless it's the picture angle.

i know and i add that particular model in white as a kid and was the one doing the washing but it was a 4 cycle four temp model and there was a little opening on the side to put or fingers to open the lid but from what i can say by this particular model is they should of put a chrome handle or make the lid open on the side like a kenmore because of the desing

Indentation is on front right side. Lid opens upward and goes back toward console. The portable DD Kenmores from early to mid 90's did this.

I see it now. Slight shadow on the right side near the front.
