I discovered this film today on the archive.org website.
The film is from 1958.
At about 17 minutes, the RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark VIII is introduced.
There are many other GREAT films on this site of washers and dryers (dishwashers, too!)

Great video - you can fast foward to about the 17 minute mark to see the washer work. Real cool video. I think this was the last year they used the push to open lid! I did know someone that had a simular time line whirlpool that just had the time line that lit up and the water temp dial. It was yellow and a real nice washer. It didnt have all these features. They made such nice things back than!

I almost forgot when I went to Virgina 3 years ago - I went to LightedControls Mark warehouse and their was a very simular machine!
