Hello.

Rich and I managed to do the drive to Oakland, we left sunday, and arrived home last night at 10:30 pm, 15 hours drive, made worse with my having developed pneumonia once again on the way down to Oakland. Did not make for the most pleasant road trip that we had hoped for.
Its not fully installed yet, but after waiting 30 years to see it in action, I had to get it up and running when we got home to Yakima, so just did a temp wire job and manually filled the machine up to see how it ran.
Video is not the best, but we will try to get another one made as soon as possible, and yes, the machine was in fact never used or installed, all manuals, instructions, racks, are all in pristine condition, not a mark on the inside of the cabinet. THere is one scratch on the top of the machine tho, thats the only issue it has that we have found so far. It is also the larger 10 place setting machine, will be scanning the manual and installation instructions when I get home to Burnaby in the next few days when I am able to drive on my own.
This puppy roars when running, will have to adjust the screen baffle to get it to go further down the window, and as well put a new strip of foam under the door for a seal, after 50 years the old foam deteriorated into powder.
Rich will continue the thread for me, as I will be taking a hiatus from being on line till I manage to get feeling back to normal again.
Chris

Hello Chris thats a great find it seems very Quiet.
Any dishwasher you can see even if it does not clean... I well take it.

I would like to see, how you like the way it cleans.

Louis did you really throw the dishwasher away ?
And how was it on just washing dishes ?

I have seen this dishwasher style washing, In a person called CandyBimatic he's is a INGNIS brand.

I beleave Louis ( Forloysios )said he has really interesting videos.

Chriss hopeing you can sheed some more light on this dishwasher be well.

cool wash action !!! Does it from the the back of the machine? Reminds me of the James " wall of water " action .

some more info

Hello again

We spent the morning installing it into the kitchen here in Yakima, will live here till I get a new apartment in the next few months, if I have space, it will make the move north.

The machine has a long impeller surrounded by a fine mesh screen that is the entire width of the machine, it is then moved back and forth by an arm providing the wall of water wash action. The Ling Tempco is a relative of the James dishwasher, very similar in wash action . Here is a pic to show what it looks like.

Will be posting schematics, manual, and other photos as I get a chance to....thanks!

Actually, once it filled and started washing, it kept slowly filling while losing the excess through the overflow down the drain. At the end, the detergent water is all replaced by fresh water, the steam generator comes on and steams the dishes which gives the effect of rinsing them in distilled water as the steam condenses on them. When the cycle is over, the dishes are so hot they flash dry spotlessly. The neat ads for them in the late 50s and early 60s showed them as portables on a cart that looked like the carts used at that time for portable TVs. I guess the portables had a drain pump since they were not higher than the sink for draining. The ability of the machine to drain by gravity is why they were often shown mounted under cabinets above counter level.

These are awesome machines!

So the Ingnis and Ling Tempco are not related correct?  They seem to have a different wash action.

Would love to have one of each!!!

Brent

Wow is right, I want one now!  The wash action drama is spectacular.  I sure hope I get to see one of these running sometime.

Wow that was fun to watch, this may inspire me to fix ours. we have the same model and one of the smaller ones that had numerous issues. I love that when it is running you can here the gear motor winning along as it moves the screen to direct the of wave of water, it sure doesn't look like a MT Jet-Clean DW LOL.
