Hey AW.org Gang, just thought I'd share a few machines, I have found on some websites that are up for sale. Trouble is, I’ve seen this website before, though I am not too familiar with it, but I thought its worth a shot any how.

That Hoover Electron (above) will be sure to get a few of the lads abit moist. Looks VERY tidy too.

Bit far for me unfortunately, and just purchased another machine that i'm yet to inform the parents (who own the garage it's going in) of, so i best not push my luck!

Some good machines though, cheers for posting, hopefully some more can be saved :)

Liam

Reply to Liam.

Hiya Liam.

Yeah I’m sure the guys would’ve of been in melt down, I certainly was. Shame though because I can’t afford to start collecting machine’s at the moment,
1. Due to low income
2. I have no room
3. I really don’t know how to repair machines personally
So its all doom and gloom for me lol (only kidding)…
All those beautiful machines I’ve seen recently seen gone in a blink of an eye. But having said that I know it will go to some of the guys who will look after them.

Hass.

Loving the hoover electron 1100!

Looks to be in top nick, if I didnt have my A3110 I would be interested but only have room for 1 washer and that in the kitchen.

My trusty A3110 is doing very well :)

Hass & Richard

Know the feeling re lack of space. As i'm living back at home at the moment i can't really get anymore machines. Got 3 washers & a dryer, but the latest one that i bought at the weekend caused abit of a fuss with the Parents.... 'why do you need 3 washing machines, you won't use them' etc, so i'll have to wait till im back in my own place before getting anymore unfortunately :(

Im no repairman either but i just bite the bullet & ask someone who is to look at them. Not at the moment though as i havn't the money, but fortunately the Zanussi's seem largely in working order anyway. Only problem has been a strange rattle on the FL1012 at times (see video below).

As the machine is largely a collection piece i'm not too worried that it'll get worse.

Richard, glad to hear your Hoover is all good. It's done very well being a main machine - i used to use my FL1012 in this way & it was fine but after storage for a while & then this weird noise, i think i might have to look to another machine for the daily job!

Liam.

I cant believe that my A3110 that is over 30yrs old hasnt had anything go wrong with it at all and I have had it for over a year now.

The modern hoover that it replaced within its first year had its motor replaced and other parts that had failed! Bearing in mind it only does approx 4 washes a week wasnt overused! Just goes to show the quality of old vs new!

Missed out on the hotpoint. My LG steam washer has completley died after 4 months of use and given up completley on it getting fixed. 2 engineers been out and cant do anything with it and dont want a replacement...
