Isn't this a cool ad? An aunt of mine in Fergus Falls, MN had a machine with this filter, but I don't remember much else. I'm sure it was a Wizard. Franklin made laundry appliances for many different stores/brands, some of them were: Wizard/Western Auto Cornado/Gambles Ambassador AMC Barton Bradford Constellation COOP/Capri Fedders Firestone Marquette One Minute Unico White/Whitehouse Zenith |

Seems like Franklin (btw, were they the Webster City, IA washer company?) made for all of the "controlled" brands. Ambassador--one of the department store groups (Allied?) AMC--ditto (Associated) (what about Duracrest--I think this was May Department Stores) Bradford (Grants) A couple others... TempMaster (OTASCO) Holiday (Lowes) What were these other ones...curious if they were local distributors of some nature, Canadian or what? JL |
