Spotted this on craigslist NH. Early or mid-60s I am guessing!

This is certainly early 60s with belt-and-pulley drive.

Nice machine.....but what gets me is how solid metal, no plastic doesn't mean anything to many buyers.....

I sold one of my SQ sets, and mentioned that these are solid metal, no plastic tubs or gears....and someone asked what does that mean?...and why should that make a difference?.......don't you just want to smack them?

I believe my cousins had that dryer.  it's like 1962 or 1963.

1962 KM [70] SERIES ELECTRIC DRYER

These were good rugged dryers but they could be noisy and they were slower and 25% less efficient than most dryers. This dryer already had the belt around the drum drive system but also had a belt driven blower which accounted for a fairly loud sound level.

The only thing that could make that dryer better is if there were a matching washer to go with it. The 1962 Model 70 was awesome.

Have a good one,
James
