I just wanted to inform that the dishwasher attachment arrived yesterday in excellent shape. Rod (seller was fantastic to deal with. Not only very personable BUT can that man pack & ship. It's such a pleasure to see an item packed with such care. If you're reading this Rod, hats off to you!!

Another thanks goes to Steved who very kindly mailed his Thor instruction manual(the one that he pictured on a past Thor thread) to me as a gift!! MANY THANKS :-)

Now if I could only get the washer tub free from the machine... Ugh!

Rich

Thanks, Bob!

I'm so anxious to use the dishwasher and it's so frustrating that I can't get the washer tub out. I'm hoping for more suggestions as to how to remove it. I've been told to stomp on the tub with my foot to break it free. Seems a bit harsh and I don't want to harm the transmission. I've tried a penetrating oil (Kroil) down the center shaft with no luck and now we have the tub suspended with ropes with the hope that the weight of the motor/tranny will free it up. I'm even rapping the center shaft with a hammer hoping that it will break it free!! NO LUCK!

HELP...anyone?

Rich

Can't wait to see some more photos of the Thor!
Don't rush trying to remove the tub - let the oil work it's magic and I am sure it will loosen up.
Congratulations on your new acquisition!!

Thanks for the advice, Paul. Looks like this is all I can do :-( I will get photos up when I get it all set and running. I still can't believe that I found my "must have" machine, dishwasher and paperwork all within the month. The appliance gods must have been smiling down on me!! :-)
