Let's see...metal lid handle on washer puts it at least into the 70s...plastic handle on dryer into the 80s? Anyone?

My Guess

I'd aim that pair around 1973. That's around the time the dryer adapted the plastic door handle and the one-piece lint screen, while the washer kept the medal door handle until around '83. From the early '70s back, the dryer had a medal door handle, and the lint screen was under a small hindged lid.

like this model to be precise as this was the set my mother had bought when she was pregnant with me so i estimate she bought this washer dryer set around 1972
