Hey all, not sure if Im in the right area or whatever here...

I am cleaning out a house and came across a Maytag A606. The washer appears to be all there but in kinda poor shape. I found a rats nest in the control area and several of the wires chewed through. The controls are also rusty and sticky.

I would imagine the motor and transmission may be ok, the tub looks ok, just very dirty.

I was considering restoring it but just dont have the time. I collect vintage tvs and appreciate the value of vintage American made appliances.

Im looking for a collector or someone who would appreciate it.

Forgot to mention location is near LAX airport. It can sit here for a week or two. Still trying to figure the forum out...

Nice machine with the deeper tub.  I'll bet she'd run with the wiring repaired, but a project machine for sure.

And, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see pix of your TV's posted over on the Super forum.  I own just one, a 10" Admiral bakelite consolette from 1950 that had a recap several years ago and is a fun novelty to watch once in a while.

Our family's original TV, a Capehart model 325F, I let go at the estate sale we had here a few years ago.  It was just too big, needed a recap, and I think as a collectible the Admiral is more desirable anyway.
