I had to clear some space in the garage, so I have parted out the 1986 Maytag WU902 reverse-rack dishwasher that orignally came with the house in Ogden.
I have a whole bunch of parts that may be useful to someone here. I managed to extract the wash arms, supply tube, heating element, water inlet, and the blower assembly for the drying system. The pump is seized, but I took it out anyway, just in case someone could use it. |

Funny you should mention that, there has been a real run of this style/generation of Maytags up for grabs here recently. The old Maytag reputation influenced a lot of dishwasher purchases it would seem!!
How serious are you about looking for one? I have seen machines slightly less fancy than this one going from $20 to $150 on Kijiji... |

We have a rebuilt Jenn-Air 1988 BD DW that looks like the MT that Paul has that needs to go. Ours has a black control panel with light gray buttons and a mechanical timer for delay wash on the left side of the panel. DW has brand new pump module and belt and was on display at the wash-in last fall, would make a good daily driver. We would need about $250 or it will likely be scraped for parts, as it is I have the MT version of this that was only used about 10 times.
Pauls offer of parts would be good for anyone that has one of these or wants one of these as the timer and control switches are NLA. |
