As some of you might remember, I've been wanting to obtain a Whirlpool Belt Drive centerpost bearing tool (Robinair tool #14857) for a LONG time. Today, I finally got one! One of the service techs who patronizes the appliance parts store where I work was downsizing and wanted to get rid of it. My tool has both the upper mandrels (for one and 2 seal washers). The problem is I'm missing the bearing puller mandrel (Robinair #14510). I looked around online and found replacement bearing installation mandrels, but I can't find anything on the bearing and seal puller. Anyone know of a source of a replacement puller mandrel?
Is there a work-around for this? Dave |

Dave the removing tool did not come with the installation tool. Few re-builders ever bothered getting the bearing removal tool. We have the removal tools and they are even more useless that the MT brake removal tool in my experience. One they usually will not work on badly worn bearings, two an old BD agitator shaft and a sledge hammer always works. |
