I was going through some of the photos I saved from Kijiji of washers and dishwashers. And I came across a unique machine. A Kenmore Filter Flo! Looks like it has the self cleaning filter ring. I did a Super Searchalator for Kenmore Filter Flos, only to come up with people who had never seen one, and I read that they are the on the lower end of the line up.

What's the story behind these machines?

Perhaps they were sold by the Sears up on Canada.  I think all US Kenmores were made by Whirlpool or the stacked units by Frigidaire.  Could be the Canadian Sears does their own sourcing.

I saw these at Sears in Toronto back in the 90's. I was very surprised to see that GE (Camco) built these for Sears. These Kenmores are Canadian built. Kinda wish we had them here in the States.

Is this machine available? I'd want it for that white tub alone!

Yep...

During the late 80s/early 90s, Camco (Canadian G.E.) made some Kenmore products, including laundry appliances and fridges.
