Whirlpool has made a new washer dryer for the UK, possibly due to the demise of Servis that inspired the previous machine. I know that this is a Smeg machine, but why does it look like a Haier?

well,

It looks like a haier because it is probabtly a Chinese owned machine and built in China

I hope the quality of this new models is better than the older. The old model was rated the lowest of all combo's by Dutch consumers.

It looks nice.....

Obviously there's more to it than looks, but i do like Whirlpool's current styling, perhaps with the exception of tinted glass on some of their washers, as i like to see what's going on inside!

The newest 6th Sense washers felt decently solid compared to the competition in Currys a couple of weeks ago too.

thanks for the replies...

@FL1012, I LOVE the new styling of Whirlpool, it's got to be the best so far, yeah, the tinting of the door glass, but then I can't imagine it without the tinted glass.

@foraloysius, yes those were horrible models, I don't think ANYONE bought them here in the UK, they were being marketed in the region of £400-500, for a, pfft, servis! I think the Smeg model is more or less better value, particularly because it is similar to the built in Bosch models.
