It may say Amana on the label, but it's nothing more than a rebadged Speed Queen.  The price is a a bit steep, so I hope they have room to store it until they come down to a more realistic price.

NEW SQ-AMANA WRINGER WASHER

The $350 price is right on the money considering that a new imported one is more than twice that. This Amana cost over $550 when they bought it in the early to mid 1990s. Many people on this site [ including my self ] have gotten some incredible deals and appliances that people wanted to get rid of, but we should not expect people to give things away for far less than they are worth. Constantly doing so just cheapens this this hobby and is just one more reason that people think we are a bunch of nuts to collect major appliances.

Can't imagine anybody thinking that of us! (LOL). Honestly, I just compare it with those guys that are into small engines or toy trains.

Collecting.

Collecting Washing Machines and Dishwashers is not like collecting "small engines or toy trains"

This hobby a whole different level of strange-ness

I keep this desire in the closet

I only have 1 Youngstown Dishwasher, so I'm not too much of a nut...,yet

I still want a sink/dishwasher combo!

Bottom line:  there are collectors for everything.  We're all nuts!
