I've been perusing Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, BestBuy, EVERYONE looking around at open boxed specials or their markdowns. Long story short, going through a "divorce" so I have to replace the machines. Actually I'm only replacing the washer since I'm a line-dry fan. However, of course I had to loose my job around the same time. Anywho, enough of the story telling, this is the machine I found, discounted down to 700 and I got them down to 600. Delivery is Friday, and I'll let you know how it works, I'm excited!

We looked at that machine several months back. It seems to have a lot of nice features and well built. I am looking forward to you telling us more about it.

Delivered

Well they delivered it today, I ran their tub cleaning cycle before I washed anything. I did a load of jeans, it felt like it didn't extract as much water as my Bosch Nexxt did. Right now I have a load of whites running, I'll report back on how those turn out.

So far:

*The machine is not quiet. Not crazy loud, but still, I won't be running this anything I'm trying to get to sleep.
*The tub is making a small noise when spinning, I may call up Samsung about this.
*It plays a little ditty when it's done washing....actually a very LONG ditty...but it's a nice consolation for having to sell off my 1956 Westinghouses lol

Whites

Whites are definitely cleaner in this machine, probably owing to the built in water heater, which the Bosch didn't have. Though the bleach dispenser is poorly designed, it's small and to the back of the detergent drawer, virtually ensuring a spill unless you use a funnel to pour in the bleach lol

water heater me in my case i don't see much use of having a water heater in a washer as i get optimal cleaning power when washing in cold water including whites i mostly never use the hot water temp unless its for bed sheets but thats all the rest is always wash and rinse in cold water.
