It does look pristine - like the rest of the room it's in.  She kept a clean house, the dishtowels on the washer and dryer tops is cute.  My grandmother hemmed a flour-sack pad for the top of her washer, it was always protected when closed.  I see two KM dd washers, one next to the dryer and one in the corner.  Two vacuum cleaners - the Hoover's box is still there, under a bench or table.

Nice pics in the thread,  thank you.  There does not seem to be any foolproof way  to check CL for wringers.  I missed out on a round maytag, red trim.  Posted on CL as Oval washer 1955.  It seems the chances of an older adult that would post Wringer  probably does not post, and several I have seen posted in other cities are listed as Ringer .    The Maytag with the red trim was gone off the listing b4 i got around to it, all was not lost i think it was gravity drain. alr2903

I am curious about the 2 or 3 ridges in the bottom of the tub?
Were they for extra scrubbing action, or to guide water to the drain?
