This washer had been stored in a barn for many years. Suprisingly after taking the back of everything seemed ok all the belts still in place. The wash pump was free & easy to turn. The spinner pump was a little stiff but i soon had that turning ok. So after a bit of a clean up i thought i would try it out. The spinner side works fine, the heater operates. Now here is the problem the wash motor won't work totaly dead. At first a thought it could be the motor relay so i swapped it with the spinner motor relay just to see if that would solve the problem but no. So i got my tester screwdriver out to see if they was power going to it & they is. Now the bit that is puzzling me is why have the motors got no capacitors on them did the early models not have them on or are they elsewhere on the machine. The pic below is the replacement motor showing the capacitor. I just thought that maybe that's why the motor isn't working. Can anyone help. Craig
