Listed this before but no takers. Need to find homes for many things lying about and if the thing isn't taken here in the group will see if any locals want.

Pump On Offer:

Though the box says FSP... Pump-Water-AW 285317/code 941107, contents are:

357729 Water-Pump (3-port)

Kit contains also 356926 Pulley-Plastic, 357261 Cap, 370450 Hose Clamp, and 285318 Instruction sheet.

(Don't know what model washing machines this unit is for, and as it most certianly does not fit my machine thus needs moving on. No resonable offer refused.

Have a box of other NOS parts purchased for my Whirlpool "convertible" washer mainly belts and seals that are surplus to requirements as well. May keep just one belt as a back up, but the last time a service person worked on my machine he said the one there is nice and tight.

Wow, this may be what I need for my 1966 Inglis (a Whirlpool-built machine)!!

Launderess, I don't have the parts list info on the washer at the moment (everything is down at the house in Ogden and I am not there before Friday night...) I will take my chances and hope it will still be available at the beginning of next week...

Anyone who knows Kenmore/Whirlpool/Inglis machines and can confirm this will work for me, do let me know also - in that case, I can maybe get this before I vanish from cyber-space for the weekend...

Plumb forgot I have a parts list for the ol' Inglis H560 on this computer! The pump on my machine is a 3-port (although one is pointed upwards instead of level with the pump case). If this can help anyone ID it, the Inglis part number was 84848 (with a note to refer to Ma.50 - no idea what that means...)

Further info, the washer I have is a Suds-Saver, but this feature has been disabled in its current state.

I hope this will work for me!!

WP THREE PORT PUMP

combo52's profile picture

Laundress this is the correct pump for all compact WP- KM BD washers that measure 24" across and 21" deep, I thought you had one of these? Paul this is not the correct pump for your 1966 machine. This pump fits the majority of WP BD full sized washers from 1973 till the end in 1987 of BD machines.

Have two different NOS pumps laying in the stash. One is a three port (shown above), and the other is a two port.

My machine is the portable/convertible "compact" unit.

Mystery Solved

launderess's profile picture
For some strange reasons Whirlpool gave the same part number to both the two and three port pump models. The directions in the box for the two port model tell if one is using it how to cap off what one presumes is the third hose.

So to be clear am offering the *TWO* port version Whirlpool/FSP 285317 code #931607

As always thank you Combo52 for saving my hash.

L.

Oh drat! I thought I read "4 port pump" at first, but I went out and bought a 3 port just today. Ugh. However, those 'surplus' parts I am interested in!
