If I had the money, i'd buy it! Its my childhood washer. Bet the cold water valve failed in it at some point. Ours only lasted 5 years :-( Bought an indesit afterwards dec 1994 and it was still going last year when my folks moved.

Ripped clothes though, but it was the first machine i'd seen with pulse spinning. Thought it was so advanced!

Also had experiences with this machine...

A relative had this machine, and we lived with her for a while, though I couldn't remember how it operated, apart from the bits which were similar to the Hotpoint washer we bought a couple of years later when we moved. I never even knew the machine was an LE (Low energy model). I don't think it was the greatest as we didn't buy the combined washer dryer when we moved, and after a few years, it was replaced with a Hotpoint WM something.

230 euros is a lot, that being said though, it's in great condition with no obvious damage to the exterior.

Yeah, it was a low energy model. It does look brand new, except some stripping damage. It was the worst machine we'd ever had! I would never dream of buying it and using it as my main machine. It was highly unreliable. The pump went on it while it was under guarantee. Still, would like for the memories! Should have tried harder to get the Electrolux WD3000T that was the other one. Sadly, we had a hotpoint fridge so that swung it. Mum wanted matching appliances.

The washing sequence was the same as the washing machines but the spins were different. It pulse span and the final spin would be at 500 rpm then up to 1000. No straight up to 1000 after distributing. I remember the machine being very unstable. The drum had very little movement in it.

Some folks just don't want to part with their toys.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if someone who's keen on this model was willing to fork that much out even if it's an old machine... perhaps a collector!
