This is a tribute to Chris's (aquarius8000's) Hotpoint WD61 *SNIFF*. (I do sniff a lot, even not when a machine is gone). Please can you help by putting all *SNIFF* info and *SNIFF* pictures. This applies to everyone *SNIFF* as well as Chris. I have put a *SNIFF* link to an eBay page and *SNIFF* also a photo.

Bye

Jacob

I kept the door, panel with timer and pressure switch, inlet valves, draw and case to be screwed on to the panel and the clamp bands.

Farewell...

Good evening Jacob and Chris.

Hotpoint Washer/Dryer's will always have a special place in my heart since I spent 12 years of my childhood sitting with one, my Aunt's WD22A. Wonderful machine... Hopefully I'll own a 99** or a WD** someday. I hope my collection will build up more before Xmas as I only have two machines, the Hotpoint Spinner and the Hoover Single Tub. I await a Twin Tub, possibly two even over the coming two weeks and I hope a Hotpoint Automatic and Dryer will come soon too. Maybe a Liberator!

What was wrong with the Dryer?

James.

P.S. Welcome Jacob!

I have to agree with you. I spent many hours every Wednesday in the holiday from when I was about 3, watching my nanas WM41 Microprofile. I currently have a thread about it. I also remember watching my grandparents' WMA34 in Sandstone. Thank you for the welcome James. These machines make me proud to feel British!

Watch out Chris, those dryers have asbestos inside and are very dangerous!
