I'm sure my Mom must have seen the Maytag display in the Festival of Gas pavilion mentioned at the bottom of the ad which was at the 1964/65 World's Fair.  She and her best friend took a guided trip to New York, Niagra Falls, and New England in '64.

I am originally from New Jersey and vaguely remember going there.

I do remember having a Belgian Waffle with Ice Cream and sitting in a New Ford Galaxy at the Ford Motor Company Pavilion. Not at the same time. LOL

This dryer has the child-killer door latch. The Maytag gas dryer might have started heating instantly, but the low BTU burner made drying take longer.
