Hopefully someone can explain the history? I've always wondered why my favorite blue Westy had a ramp so similar to the EASY - and was Sears a EASY knockoff with the "rotoswirl" or whatever their ramp agitator was called?

The first Westinghouse top-load washers were made by Easy.  1962 until Westinghouse rolled out their own around 63-64.  From what I've seen of Westy doctrine, there were only two or three models from Easy.
