All Philco products here are rebadged (usually not rebadged Electrolux products though)
But you'll never guess what Electrolux decided to put the Philco Badge on...

It's all about the $$$, as long as they get a piece of the money pie!
Nice FL though!

GO FIGURE!

Unbeliavable!
That is all in all a Candy (parent of Hoover Europe) machine! :O
And think that over here Philco is just a name in the hands of Indesit - NOT Antonio Merloni - Company (rival company of Candy)

I don't think Electrolux for once has nothing to do with it :)

It is all about money

It has nothing to doo with Electrolux letting Candy, or indesit etc..

It is just that manufacturers give money, for example Candy and Hoover are just names , brands and CANDYHOOVERGROUP is their owner, and thats it. This way, as Philco is virtually dead brand, perheaps 70% money for it gave Electrolux, 20% CANDYHOOVERGROUP, and 10% indesit, so we can see machines under a Philco name made by them all! :)

It is nice machine anyway xD

Philco washers (not washer-dryers) sold here are actually rebadged Bekos...

And Hoover-branded machines aren't available here in HK, I guessed that's why they put whatever badges on Hoover-styled machines.

I can't believe that even GE is outsourcing to Candy the production of Washer/Dryers! :) I'm happy for those at Candy group!
