Hello all,
I'm quite the newby and I'm here alredy on the grovel. the Machine in question has a damed fine leak from the central agitator I have got all the new parts and seals, I have undun every nut bolt and screw ( my nuckels will probably never recover) and still I cannot get the drum out any assistance would be greatly appreciated :) Thankyou ! |

I have taken two of these a part one just slipped of the shaft no problems the other was like yours, I rotated the tub back and forth against the gear box which stopped it rotating, and eventually it freed up, i was begining to think about heating it with a blow torch at one point
But i am sure it will free off one or another Gary |

The rubber hammer hammerd ! Two of us stood on the metal frame with one foot on the concrete weight. I twisted and pulled. I landed on my arse. But it was off.
It was rusted the rubber was dust.and that spring clip around the shaft holding the rubber caused moor damage to me getting it off. Will update on my progress and a few photos after the week end. Watch this space. |
