Precious, the stuff they tell salesmen to say. Like how the detergent gets in the tub makes a difference in what it ends up doing. Thanks for publishing for site view.

I've never liked top-loaders until I saw these Bravos high-efficiency washers.

How much water would they use if you had a small load to wash... say a complete tracksuit (top and bottom), a couple of t-shirts and some socks and boxer shorts? Will it be about the same as a front-loader (approx 25 litres), a little more or a lot more?

I'd just like to see how feasable it would be for me to own something like this and use it as a daily driver as I do many small loads (as well as the weekly ones) and still getting away with reasonable water tariffs (as I am on a meter). It's never gonna happen anyway... as we don't even get high efficiency top-loaders over here... it's just a personal curiosity. Thanks :-)

Are the "fins" on the impeller topped with silicone-rubber? Hold on Harriet Nelson, there's a new washer in town! If so, I'll bet they really drag the fabrics around pretty vigorously.

I've never had the chance to play with one of these - other than spinning a bottle of Tide HE at Sears with Steve B. once... RUN!!

None of the stores around me have these new machines yet. The current Bravos machines are all at clearance pricing so I assume they are coming soon.
