Boy these look familiar!

What a douche bag!

If anyone on here bought these, beware of seller, he can not follow through with commitments. Several of us attempted to purchase these while on C/L and the seller flaked out and disappeared.

Watch Out!

Wow! somebody's rich! These are the Deluxe twins with the push buttons. My Aunt Nat (now 82 years young and loved hearing from me a few days ago) had in her basement that were washing and drying clothes for My Uncle Mel, Aunt Nat and their 7 kids!I'd cop out of school just to go their and do their laundry. They had no problem except when my Dad would get a call from my principal telling him I hadn't been to school for a few weeks.

WH SPACE-MATE PAIR

$600.00 for these is a steel, I would have bought these in a NY minute if I didn't already have a similar pair already. From the pictures you can see these are in great condition. And from history we know that there is little chance that these will work perfickly as these were very trouble prone appliances by even WH standards. But in any case congratulations to who ever got this great set

I do have some spare parts for these and know them very well John.

Machines

Yes John, they are very nice looking machines, I was merely referring to the seller. These were the machines that I originally pursued in Louisville and the seller was a flake. I thought they were gorgeous but at the time the seller was asking $300 or so for them. Not to say they are not worth the $600, but when the seller agrees to a price and then has 2nd thoughts and won't return calls, then things get hairy.

Not to start the old how much is it worth post again, I was out but a good friend of mine was going to buy them and was totally stood up by this guy.

spacemates

I would have loved to have gotten that set and would pay more than 600 gladly. When I was 8 a friends parents in the neighborhood had that set in their kitchen and I have wanted one ever since.Just to torment me further they didnt have the washer connected because his Mother said it was too loud.I sure ran into some nutty adults back then. They did make up for it somewhat by having a 1964 Lady kenmore in the basement.I have run into a few of those sets over the years but they were always wrecked.
