Well, I'm gonna have to change those damper pads on my Maytag that you pointed out to me. Could you give me a rough idea of what I'm going to have to do to get to the damper? It would be greatly appreciated!

Well....

After watching some YouTube video's, the replacement of the damper pads seems pretty straight forward and easy. If you have any tips or suggestions...just let me know.

Hey!

The problem could really come down to if the aluminum damper is too chewed up or not (ie the ground aluminum dust...). If the damper itself is too chewed up, it will damage the new pads quickly. Let me know!

Ordering the parts in a few minutes and I should be able to repair it by Friday or Saturday. There isn't very much black dust, so I'm hoping I caught the problem early. I'll keep you posted!
