So I got my new damper pads in the mail today, and got them replaced. Was actually a pretty easy job to do, dealing with the springs was the worst part of the job. Seems like I caught the problem just in time, and there was no gouging to the zinc aluminum dome. I absolutely love the simplicity of these Dependable Care Maytags! But anyways, did a test run afterwards and everything is running great. And yes, I remembered to lube the pads!
