The Coronados (obviously made by WCI) were not too bad looking. My question is what did Gambles have to do with Aldens? I had only seen the ads in different magazines but never was able to visit either of the stores. Where were they located? In what city did they originate? Inquiring minds want to know.

Those are some nice washers & dryers & still wish TODAY'S stuff could be made that way--'cept that one small dialed-washer probably is a TIMED fill, though...
I'm sure there are some washing machines where the one small dial would be a Water Level while temp & maybe Speed would be controlled by the timer, or maybe were... -- Dave |
