Just love your kitchen Lance.

Your vintage machines just fit right in.
Have just shown my mum the above piccy and she recognised a Hotpoint Empress straight away.

The Empress was my grandmas first electric washing machine and was bought circa 1958/59, when they emigrated across the Pennines from Yorkshire to Lancashire and it operated alongside an ACME Sun Breeze tumble dryer.

The dryer was replaced by a Hotpoint Liberator Dryer in 1975 and the Empress was replaced by an Electra A3E02 (an electricity board Hoover Matchbox) around 1976/77.

Happy wash-ins!
Paul
