Hi all. I'm new here. I have a question about a mini twin tub I got a few days ago. It's one of those cheap ($200), plastic, no-brand, made-in-China products. Yes, I knew that buying it would be a risk, but it was a risk I was willing to take. I live in a tiny apartment with no laundry taps and my downstairs laundromat is super expensive. So I thought I would try getting a mini twin tub as a laundry solution.

It's leaking at the bottom underneath the washer tub. Does anyone know what might cause this? Does anyone know how I should attempt to fix it?

I hate to say this...

.... it should be under warranty, send it back and get a refund....

It's electrical and it's leaking water - that's a deadly mix.

DO NOT try and fix it....

Then consider getting a 'proper' twin tub or small automatic you can move around - some of the older GE and Panasonic models sold in the 1970's and 80's were on wheels....

If you own or are buying the flat, remove a double kitchen cupboard near the sink and get a 'dishwasher connection' put in....then you can have a standard European sized washer installed.....

Like to see it if you have photo ability.

Bought new it ottn't leak, have the seller give you another. Bought used, leaking is not a surprise. But without knowing the configuration, where the hoses and seals are, hard to guess where it's coming from.
