Hi all,

While I'm posting I also wanted to share a couple of pictures of the Hoover 560 from the late 60's early 70's, I got a few months ago. Its in great condition and works a treat had been in the same family since new.

I have been after one of 500 series machines for years ever since my mum traded her's in on a new machine about 25 years ago.....

These where Hoover Australia's first all OZ made top loader based on the US Blackstones machines, these went on to become one of Hoover biggest sellers.

I'm well please to have found a 560, would have been great if it had of been the holy grail of the series, the 585.

But I'm happy with my new toy.

Cheers
Mark

So Hoover was doing the whole 'last number is 5 = heater' thing back in then...

I'd only thought it was a Front-loader thing......well there you go.
