that sounds like it could be the tub brake slipping, bit i'm not fully sure. | ||

SQUEALING MT WASHER In the middle of the wash cycle could be slipping belts, bad pump, or transmission starting to size up. Try flipping the pump belt off and letting the machine agitate for ten to twenty minutes and see if you still have the noise, this will tell you if it involves the pump and its belt or the main drive belt and possibility the transmission, it could also be the brake if the tub is indexing even slightly in which case the sound will not hurt anything. | ||
