Hey Todd, it's ONLY $5... go get it!   Who cares what it is!   LOL

 

My first thought was Kitchenaid, which would make it WP.   It ALMOST looks like it could say Montgomery Wards, but that would make it a Westinghouse and it's all wrong for that.  

 

Sounds like it's got a timer issue.   For $5, throw it in the garage for washing rags or the dog bedding!

A $5 KA is worth pursuing IMO, even if the timer needs replacement.

It's a Whirlpool built KitchenAid from the late 80's/early 90's. These had a lot of nice features on them. Of course being WP machines they were direct drive, they featured the SureScrub agitator white drum and porcelain top and lid. I personally like the classy styling of the console. I't is worth picking up and saving if you are interested in modern classics.
