Your link doesn't work. It sends back a "article introuvable 12" error. WHich means it doesn't exist.

Could you provide some close up pictures of the control panel?

The manual extract is quite unique.

I'll be the first to admit that I wish we had more H-Axis washer choices in North America.

ah, sweet memories ;-)

Our neighbor had one like this, I loved the glass lid. You were much "closer" to the wash action as you could clearly hear the flopping and sloshing of the clothes in the water. And the smell of the boiling soap suds would fill the laundry room.

But the one I remember had a blue panel: I found this very fascinating as a kid: Silverish metal with a blue tint, very unique.

Thanks for posting!

If By Manual Extract

You mean as one assumes above the washer does not progress to the final rinse automatically there others whom do this as well.

My Miele for instance on all cycles except "Cottons/Normal" (Delicates, Permanent Press, Woolens) the washer will complete all rinses but stop after the final one.
There are two ways around this: one is to press the "Short Spin/Rinse Hold" button *before* the timer reaches that point (say when starting the cycle), or afterwards when one wishes the machine to complete.

There are several reasons for this odd set up.

Miele thought that housewives may not wish certain items spun even with short spins. By stopping the cycles after the rinse one could select "Drain" and remove whatever items from the machine once all water was gone.

The other is by using "Rinse Hold" one didn't have to worry about spun (even gently)laundry remaining in the washer for long periods if one was away/cannot get back to remove the load when cycle ended. This prevents creases from setting in.

Will often use the latter if the washer has reached the final rinse in say "Normal", but one has to run out for something and cannot be around for the final spin. One moves the selector knob from "Normal" to "Permanent Press" during the 5th rinse (water levels and drum rotations are the same). This will cause the timer to stop at the end of the final rinse. When one returns I simply move the timer back to "Normal" and the timer proceeds as usual. If I merely pushed the "Rinse Hold" button the wash would only go through a series of pulse spins then end, no final high speed spin.

Hello,
A link for Qualin, with pictures of the control panel.

Launderess, the washing machine can automatically progress to the final spin (there is no spin between rinses) if you press the spin button. If you do not, the machine stops after the final drain.

The reason is also to avoid brutal movements when the machine starts the spin with small loads. As you 're there, you can stop spin a try again in case of trouble.
