Can anyone tell me how to remove this agitatior ? It does not seem to just pull off like on older GE Filter Flo washers. Or perhaps it is really stuck on ? There is an open slot on the side at the top.

this could be one of those that have a bolt under the cap, pop off the extension, and remove the bolt, then it should slide off.....this is actually a small capacity agitator, with the extender to make it larger.....if memory serves me right...the bolt is holding the agitator and the extension, look for the seam along the small cap/cover along the top, pop this off and the bolt should be inside....
