The blower belt is not the problem if the drum is turning and a good current of air is being blown out of the dryers exhaust, this was a frequent problem with later models that had a separate blower belt. I am very familiar with this and even much older WP built gas dryers, if you want to Email me and include a Ph # I can explain several options to get this dryer safely heating again. PS thats a beautiful dryer. |

You are very welcome Kurt, and I have now learned that the pilot burner can be saved. Back when we worked on a lot of these dryers we just replaced the pilot burners, now that these parts are extinct it is good to know that they can be saved, so thank you, and even though I have a lot of experience fixing appliances I have often said I learn something new every day. |
