Say has anyone ever seen one of these in operations, no more opening the top to watch the action with a window in the top and front. A neat machine all washers should have this feature

This is a display model. The window is so the prospective purchaser can see the 1000 RPM spin. The description regarding advantage of being able to check the load without opening the lid so as to not interrupt the cycle is misleading ... unless this machine does not have a locking lid. As far as I'm aware, a GWL11 with locking lid does not stop either fill, EcoActive, agitation or drain (my IWL12 does not) when the lid is opened. My older GWL08 SmartDrive with a non-locking lid and magnetic lid switch does stop and then restart and reinitialize water level sensing, but ONLY if opened DURING fill BEFORE water level sensing is completed. After water level sensing is settled down, it does not stop agitation when opened. It does stop during drain and spin. |
