I've always wanted to fine one of these locally. TOL Maytag from about 1993/1994, maybe an LAT9804AAW, right below the LAT9904AAW digital control. 4 speed control with the desirable slow agitation/fast spin speed option and extra rinse option.

Would be a great set for someone in the desert.

I would LOVE to have an Oribtal Maytag with the 4 combo speed control! You could make a KitchenTag! Put an old powerfin in and use the slow/fast speed combo for the KitchenAid version of the Maytag!

I posted a thread in the Deluxe forum for a similar pair in Atlanta for $150.  They are 1994 models for sale by the original owner.

OH Jamie! You do NOT want a Maytag orbital washer! I got one in 1994 and HATED IT-a BIG 800.00 mistake, it agitated quite badly and had a small tub! I sold it to a local woman for 225.00 in 4 months and bought my wonderful Kenmore.

These are pretty good if you use the loadsenser agitator, and to really get it up to WHIRLPOOL SPEED install the MT 50 cycle motor pulley, these changes will make the best MT washer possible.

Those Maytags are very nice. There is nothing wrong with Orbital drive Maytags, I have one and like it and if you add a regular Powerfin agitator it really turns over a load. I know your not supposed to do that but it does work.
