It's only just recently that I noticed my Asea is getting slightly louder than usual and bouncing about more than it used to. Would this be the bearings and the shock absorbers on it's way out?

I have 'jiggled' the drum and it's not loose, gave it a spin and it doesn't give any noise.

Paul,

These are now well over 20 years old so it could be pretty much anything, but my guess will be on shock absorbers more than a bearing if it is moving around more than it used to. A clip of it making the noise will certainly help others to diagnose it too.
